The seven Stages of Jewelry and Gemstone Manufacturing

The first stage

The Design Process,
Everything begins with an idea and design. The designer sketches the piece on paper or utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software.
The final designs are then presented to the model maker to prepare a three-dimensional prototype."

The Second Stage

Wax Molding and Cleaning Next, wax is shaped, cleaned, and essential components are created from rubber for the diamond piece. These components are then injected with wax, cast, and subsequently cleaned.

The Third Stage

Treeing, Individual wax models are assembled on a central wax column known as the 'tree' (resembling a tree shape with branches holding the models). The wax models are attached to the central column in a way that ensures even metal distribution.

The Fourth Stage

Gold Casting and Polishing Molten gold is poured into the cylinder to prepare it for stone setting.

The Fifth Stage

Stone Selection Diamond stones are examined, and the agreed-upon measurements for the piece are clarified, The stones are inspected to assess their quality, Subsequently, the stones are categorized based on the well-known quality criteria known as the '4 C's.

The Sixth Stage

Stone Setting After selecting the appropriate stones, the piece is polished to ensure a smooth surface for setting, The stones are then securely placed in the piece using specialized techniques in red wax to guarantee the stones stability and ideal appearance.

The Seventh Stage

Polishing and Finishing Special polishing tools are used to give the surface of the piece smoothness and shine. This process may involve the use of chemical compounds and other polishing materials to achieve the desired luster.
